Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a CYP Assistant to work with children and youth, ensuring they are actively engaged, well‑cared for, and safe during program activities. You will help develop social skills, encourage healthy choices, and support school readiness while supporting the environment and staff.

The role involves supervising participants, coordinating with parents and staff, and following DoD and installation policies to ensure a high‑quality, safe program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Pass all applicable records and background checks.
• Completion of required Navy DoD training requirements within the specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and supervision for program participants in DoD CYP settings.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, NAF, and local installation policies and standards.
• Communicate with parents and employees regarding program activities and participant progress.
• Collect, maintain, and report program participation data and conduct assessments.
