Job summary

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a CY Program Assistant to support children and youth with engaging activities, safe supervision, and developmental guidance.

The role involves creating schedules and activities, maintaining safe indoor/outdoor spaces, communicating with parents and staff, and ensuring compliance with DoD and local policies, while promoting healthy habits and positive interactions among participants.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Must meet DoD training requirements and background checks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and activity plans for children and youth.
• Prepare and maintain indoor and outdoor activity areas and materials.
• Supervise program participants and ensure safety and well‑being.
• Communicate with parents and staff about activities and progress.
• Ensure compliance with DoD policies and accreditation standards.
