Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking full-time CYP Assistants to directly engage children and youth in the CYP program. The role emphasizes safety, developmental support, and implementing planned activities aligned with individual needs and parental instructions.

The position requires adherence to DoD and local policies, completion of required training, and successful background checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to promote and foster effective working relationships with children, youth, and coworkers.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must provide HS Diploma, GED, or college transcripts upon application.

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules and activity plans, reviewing input from other CY program staff.
• Implements activities and events meeting the needs of children and youth, including those with special requirements.
• Maintains safety, health, and nutrition practices; ensures supervision and accountability of participants.
• Interacts with parents and staff, provides feedback on activities and progress, and supports program evaluation.
