Job summary

Pinnacol Assurance is seeking a Youth Apprentice for the Business Operations Analyst role, providing a registered apprenticeship through CareerWise and the U.S. Department of Labor. This part-time position features structured training and hands-on experience in a fast-paced tech environment.

You will assist with projects across the business, develop skills in using professional tools like Looker, and attend workshops to build a strong foundation. The role emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and community support, nurturing a bright future while working with a team dedicated to caring for Colorado employers and employees.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work Monday through Thursday afternoons.
• Must possess or be actively working towards a high school diploma or GED by the start date.
• Must be eligible to register as a CareerWise youth apprentice.

Responsibilities

• Attend classroom training for business acumen and core competency workshops.
• Assist in building training guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Test-drive new software and help build AVA Chatbot.
• Use Looker to create data reports and charts.
• Support non-profit community organizations through paid volunteer opportunities.
