Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking Youth Mentors to work 1:1 with recipients in their homes, supporting skill-building and personal goal achievement. You will help clients engage with community activities to foster growth beyond the home environment.

We value compassionate, reliable individuals with strong communication skills who can follow care plans and maintain dependable transportation. Background checks, 18+ years old, and independent work are required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with recipients in their homes.
• Support, encourage and help with skill-building activities.
• Bring recipients into the community to help grow personal goals.
• Follow care plans as directed and maintain consistent engagement.
• Ensure safe transportation and adherence to program guidelines.

You will be working in our clients homes while supporting, encouraging and helping with skill building activities. You will also be bringing them into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals outside of their home environment.
ExpertCare services Community of Mental Health Recipients in Southeast Michigan. Full and part time positions are available!
