Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking compassionate Youth Mentors to work 1:1 with recipients in Southeast Michigan. You will mentor in clients' homes, support skill-building activities, and bring them into the community to grow personal goals outside the home.

Positions are full and part-time; you’ll join a team committed to helping others succeed, with paid training, a flexible schedule and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 mentoring to recipients in their homes.
• Support, encourage and help with skill-building activities.
• Bring recipients into the community to grow personal goals.
• Follow care plans and communicate progress to supervisors.
