Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking a highly motivated, black belt instructor to teach martial arts to students aged 4–18 across California. The role centers on delivering safe, engaging instruction, implementing curriculum, and serving as a positive role model for families and peers.

You will perform supervision, assess progress, and adapt lessons while collaborating with fellow specialists. A Live Scan background check and CPR/First Aid certification are required; teaching certification is preferred but

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
• Martial arts teaching experience (1–5 years) required.
• Black belt or equivalent rank is required. Teaching certification is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily martial arts instruction to students aged 4–18 with different ability levels.
• Demonstrate techniques, explain principles, observe and assess progress, and give feedback.
• Group supervision focusing on behavior, health and safety, security, and personal development.
• Ensure student safety and teach safe training habits; enforce all rules.
• Prepare daily lesson plans in an engaging and creative way.
• Use classroom management to create a fun, inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and act as a positive role model.
• Follow the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and company policies.
