Job summary

Project Hospitality in New York is seeking a Housing Navigator to coordinate with DYCD and providers, managing a caseload of individuals receiving EHV assistance in a full-time capacity at the Youth Drop In Center in Staten Island.

Responsibilities include outreach to DYCD partners, helping youths obtain documents, assisting with landlord applications, move-ins, lease reviews, and maintaining accurate records and monthly reports.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant housing/homelessness experience.
• Experience with NYC housing processes and landlords is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with DYCD and providers to manage an EHV caseload.
• Engage in phone and field outreach to EHV households.
• Assist youths with documents and landlord references.
• Coordinate move-ins, applications, and subsidies.
• Ensure apartment safety and preparedness for housing interviews.
• Maintain accurate case notes and monthly reports.
