Job summary

Open Sky Community Services Inc. operates the Aurora Youth Program, delivering intensive, person-centered case management and direct outreach to about 25 young adults in SRO housing.

The Navigator collaborates with residents, property management, and community partners to promote housing stability, personal development, and a successful transition to independent living. Daily on-site support helps residents identify goals, access resources, and address barriers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Driver's license with reliable transportation required.
• Experience with homelessness or related populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents with person-centered interactions to promote trust and independence.
• Provide ongoing housing navigation and support to promote stability.
• Assist residents with housing recertifications, documentation, and applications.
• Develop skills for independent living and connect with community resources.
• Coordinate referrals to behavioral health, education, employment, and benefits services.
