Boys & Girls Clubs of the Bay & Lakes Region in Sturgeon Bay, WI, seek a part-time Food Program Coordinator to deliver nutritious meals under CACFP/SFSP. You will create a safe meal service, supervise inventory, and collaborate with staff and volunteers to foster healthy eating habits for youth aged 7-18.

The role emphasizes garden-to-table activities, food safety, and maintaining compliance records. Hours include after-school and summer shifts, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 18+ required.
• Basic understanding of kitchen safety, hygiene, and food handling.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• ServSafe certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare, serve, and clean up meals and snacks in line with state regulations.
• Create a welcoming, clean, and safe meal service environment.
• Monitor food safety, allergies, and cross-contact prevention.
• Organize food inventory, deliveries, and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with YMCA, BGC staff, and volunteers during mealtimes.
• Introduce youth to healthy eating habits and fun food exploration.
• Support garden-to-table activities and maintenance.
• Maintain compliance records and deep-cleaning schedules.
