Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) seeks a Bridges Program Supervisor in Toledo, OH to oversee services for Bridges program participants and supervise staff, ensuring timely documentation, housing support, and engagement with Liaisons.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, 3 years’ experience, and compliance with background checks; travel and nontraditional hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field is required.
• Three years’ direct experience with families and/or children in the child welfare system is required.
• Criminal background check compliance according to state guidelines is required.
• Proficient use of desktop and mobile devices and standard software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsibilities

• Supervise service staff, provide weekly supervision, and review client plans.
• Oversee liaison activity and participant eligibility.
• Manage referrals, applications, and documentation for approval.
• Approve Bridges plans and complete required reporting and records.
• Attend trainings and regional information sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
