Job summary

Denver Country Club is seeking a Youth & Families Activities Manager to lead and grow our youth programs. The role centers on coordinating camps, sports, and social events for Junior Members while upholding the Club’s standards of service and safety.

You will collaborate with other department heads to schedule programs and ensure engaging experiences for families. The position requires supervising staff, coordinating communications, and maintaining a positive, safe environment.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred in education, recreation, or related field.
• Some supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong soft skills with coworkers, children and parents.
• Positive attitude, patience, support, guidance, and encouragement.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in active youth programs.
• Experience with youth programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and promote youth sports and social activities for Junior Membership.
• Plan and execute camps, holiday events, and group activities with hands-on involvement.
• Manage daily operations of the Junior Department and ensure safety and well-being of children.
• Coordinate marketing and communications for youth programs to members.
• Handle billing, analysis, and evaluation of programs for continuous improvement.
• Oversee scheduling and payroll of youth staff; HR duties as needed.
• Plan Summer and Winter Sports Camp programs and nonathletic activities for youth.
