Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Must obtain CLEE certification within six months of employment.
• Must achieve 80% competency/proficiency on the exam.
• Ability to supervise and mentor youth and staff.

Responsibilities

• Engage with youth to ensure safety, security, rehabilitation, and well‑being.
• Mentor new security staff and provide guidance on duties.
• Support shift operations and staff coverage planning.
• Conduct routine security inspections and required reporting.
• Respond physically to emergencies and preserve facility order.
• Ensure proper grooming, clothing, and basic needs for youth.
• Coordinate with staff across posts and units as needed.
• Assist in performance evaluations and adherence to policy.
