Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is seeking a Youth Development Professional - Gaenslen to support after-school programs for Milwaukee members. The role emphasizes safety, inclusivity, healthy choices, and youth empowerment through planned activities and positive guidance.

You will help implement curricula, track attendance, collaborate with families and staff, and contribute to a supportive, youth-centered environment while adhering to club policies and best practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Complete CPR, First Aid and SCAN_MART training within 6 months.
• Within 6 months, complete at least 2 non-credit DCF-approved classes.
• Level 2/3 candidates should have post-secondary coursework related to childcare or Registry Level 6.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred for higher levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing and implementing program activities for youth.
• Maintain attendance records and report member progress regularly.
• Follow BGCGM policies, safety plans, and reporting procedures.
• Support family engagement and collaborate with communities and volunteers.
• Provide guidance and build positive relationships with members.
