Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is seeking a part-time Youth Programs Assistant to support health, safety and leadership activities for members aged 4–18. You will plan activities, track attendance, and report progress while upholding safety policies.

The role emphasizes inclusivity, strong communication with families, and collaboration with staff to deliver developmental programs in Milwaukee. Prior youth experience is preferred; CPR/First Aid training must be completed within 6 months

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Within 6 months of hire: CPR and First Aid training, SCAN_MART or equivalent.
• Within 6 months of hire: at least 2 non-credit DCF-approved classes.
• At least 6 months’ experience directly related to youth programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate an inclusive, respectful environment for diverse members and families.
• Assist in planning and implementing youth activities to promote leadership and empowerment.
• Maintain attendance records and prepare reports on program participation.
• Follow policies for member safety and confidential information.
