Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware seeks a Youth Development Professional to assist with the development and operation of a quality school-age childcare program that meets Delacare rules for school-age centers.

Under supervision of the Childcare or Program Director, you will help deliver age-appropriate programs for children ages 6–12, ensure safety, and maintain positive relationships with families and school staff, while modeling professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must pass FBI clearance and state background checks.
• Must have First Aid/CPR certification or obtain within two months of hire.
• Must possess appropriate School Age Site Coordinator Certificates.

Responsibilities

• Support development and operation of a quality school-age childcare program.
• Ensure compliance with Delaware Delacare licensing for school-age centers.
• Assist Program Director in delivering age-appropriate activities for children ages 6–12.
• Maintain safety and proper use of equipment and facilities.
• Build productive relationships with parents, school staff, and visitors.
