Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston's Holcomb Family Y seeks a program-focused professional to design and deliver high-quality youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility programs. You will lead staff, manage registrations, and coordinate community partnerships to serve families in Spring, TX.

Responsibilities include aquatics oversight, sports programming, budget monitoring, and ensuring safety standards. Strong CPR/First Aid certifications and nonprofit experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• May directly supervise part time non-exempt employees; interview, hire and train staff.
• Plan, coordinate and direct staff and volunteers; monitor certifications.
• Assist in marketing, program registrations and social media planning.
• Develop and monitor program budgets and ensure fiscal objectives.
• Assist in YMCA fundraising activities.
• Respond to member and community inquiries and complaints.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and collect statistics.
• Develop collaborations with community organizations.
• Participate in center CDLOD schedule and board committee meetings.
