Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain is seeking a Youth Development Professional (YDP) to plan, organize, promote and implement diverse program areas under the Unit Director, delivering engaging activities for members.

The role emphasizes preparing youth for success, guiding learning, coordinating plans, supervising volunteers, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment with accurate attendance records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: art, music, STEM, technology.
• Experience with youth development.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare youth for success.
• Promotes and participates in program activities.
• Orients new members to program area and rules.
