Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is seeking a Youth Development Professional to support Club Leadership across gym, learning centers, and other programming areas. You will work directly with youth to ensure safety, well-being and development through interactive activities, while upholding confidentiality and positive behavior reinforcement.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required to work in a licensed program.
• Must be 18+ years old to work in a licensed program.
• Strong organization skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with youth development and non-profit environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaged presence to prepare youth for success in a safe Club environment.
• Assist with planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs.
• Collect and track attendance, coursework, and behavior data.
• Model mature work behaviors and maintain boundaries with youth and staff.
• Develop programs supporting healthy lifestyles, good character and academic success.
