Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is seeking a Youth Development Professional to support Club leadership and deliver an outcome-driven experience across gym, learning center, computer Lab, and other areas. The role focuses on direct youth engagement, safety, and development.

Ideal candidates will be energetic, self-motivated, able to set boundaries, and communicate effectively with youth, parents, and staff. The position is on-site with varying part-time hours and a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development principles and positive youth engagement.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to motivate and guide youth in goal setting and study skills.
• Collaborates with clubs, sites and community partners.
• Willingness to learn and support new ideas for the Club.
• Experience with diverse cultures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaged presence to prepare youth for success in a safe Club environment.
• Maintain facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate programs.
• Track attendance, coursework and behavior data.
• Model mature work behaviors and professional conduct.
• Support program areas setup and daily cleanup.
