Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County in Seattle is seeking a Youth Development Professional to support a safe, engaging after-school environment for youth. You will help plan and run programs across multiple spaces, while maintaining attendance records and upholding confidentiality.

The role emphasizes positive youth development, collaboration with staff and families, and adherence to health and safety policies. Part-time hours (<30/wk) with competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with non-profit youth development organizations preferred.
• High School diploma required to work in a licensed program.
• Must be 18+ years old to work in a licensed program.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with professional presence.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build partnerships with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaged presence to create a safe, healthy Club environment for youth development.
• Assist with planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs.
• Track member attendance, coursework and behavior data.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained and set up/taken down daily.
• Support delivery of BGCA core programs and High Yield Learning Activities (HYLAs).
• Build partnerships with parents and families and model positive youth development.
