Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County seeks a Youth Development Professional to support club leadership and deliver program areas like gym, learning center, and kitchen. You will engage youth, ensure safety, and help implement outcomes-driven experiences.

The role is part-time with a flexible schedule, emphasizing youth engagement, positive behavior coaching, and collaboration with families and staff. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development principles and positive youth strategies.
• Strong organization, detail orientation, and professional presence.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with youth, families and staff.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of member information.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaged presence to prepare youth for success and a safe Club environment.
• Maintain facilities, equipment and supplies in good condition.
• Assist with planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs.
• Track member attendance, coursework and behavior data.
• Model mature work behaviors and uphold a productive environment.
• Foster partnerships with parents and families and support BGCA core programs.
