Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County seeks a Youth Development Professional to work on-site at a Club, helping youth achieve positive outcomes through engaging activities across gym, learning center, computer lab and kitchen. Qualifications

• High School diploma required to work in a licensed program.
• Must be 18+ years old to work in a licensed program.
• Understanding of youth development principles and positive motivation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Experience working within diverse cultures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaged presence to prepare youth for success while creating a safe and healthy Club environment that facilitates positive youth development.
• Maintain facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Assist with planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs.
• Collect and track Club member attendance, coursework and behavior data.
• Support delivery of BGCA core programs and High Yield Learning Activities (HYLAs).
• Build partnerships with parents and families.
• Maintain confidentiality and model professional behavior.
