Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is hiring a Youth Development Professional to support club leadership and create outcome-driven experiences for youth across gym, learning center, and programs. You will work directly with youth, ensuring safety and development, engaging families, and collaborating with staff to deliver high yield activities while upholding confidentiality and equity.

This on-site, part-time role offers a pathway to empower youth and strengthen communities through quality

Qualifications

• Knowledge of non-profit youth development; BGCA experience preferred.
• High School diploma required for licensed program work.
• Must be 18+ years old to work in a licensed program.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Understanding of youth development principles and positive motivation for youth.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaged presence to prepare youth for success in a safe Club.
• Maintain facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Help plan, develop, implement and evaluate programs.
• Collect and track attendance, coursework and behavior data.
• Model professional conduct and positive work behavior.
• Facilitate BGCA core programs and High Yield Learning Activities (HYLAs).
• Protect member confidentiality at all times.
