Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington seeks 3 year-round Youth Development Professional Program Support at Fruit Valley, Burton, and Ogden Elementary Clubs in Vancouver, WA. The role supports activity planning in Education, Tech, Art, Gym, and Games and provides positive youth guidance during after-school hours and summers.

You will model behavior, supervise activities, and help maintain safe spaces, with a 15-hour weekly average. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years old or older; 21+ for Teen Clubs.
• Must pass a national and local background checks and sex offender registry.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and implementation of activities for youth in program areas (Education, Tech, Art, Gym, Games).
• Provide behavioral guidance using conflict resolution techniques, restorative practices, and problem-solving.
• Provide guidance, affirm positive behavior, and act as a role model for youth.
• Create and maintain a safe environment through active supervision, setting clear expectations, and ensuring clean program areas.
