Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Manager to coach Guides, lead life-skills workshops, and build a campus-ready culture focused on excellence. You will guide teams to deliver exceptional student experiences across our campuses.

We seek leaders with a proven ability to raise performance, drive data-informed decisions, and open new campuses while maintaining uncompromising standards. On-site work is required at select campuses in major markets including Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven track record leading and developing teams of five or more people.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational, coaching, or developmental setting.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to consistently deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Leading engaging life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and other real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in their self-directed academic programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
