Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Manager to lead Guides, coach performance, and ensure exceptional student experiences across campuses. You will build high-performing teams, launch new campuses, and shape a culture of excellence with accountability.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, life-skills workshops, and avoiding traditional teaching. On-site work at Alpha campuses with relocation support for multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in youth development, coaching, education, learning and development, or related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance-based termination decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational, coaching, or developmental settings.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Lead life skills workshops developing communication, leadership, focus, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals and progress in self-directed programs.
• Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Help launch and establish new Alpha campuses with a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
