Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Manager to coach Guides, develop leaders, and create an environment where students consistently exceed expectations. You will lead engaging life skills workshops and motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals across a growing campus network.

This on-site role requires building high-performing teams, using data to drive improvements, and helping open new Alpha campuses. relocation support is available for select markets.

Qualifications

• On-site campus work with relocation support.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or Business; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years in youth development, coaching, education, or related leadership.
• Experience leading teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience with children ages 5–14 in educational/coaching settings.
• Experience launching a new team, program, or campus.
• Willingness to work in a non-traditional pedagogy environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Leading life skills workshops to develop communication, leadership, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals in self-directed programs.
• Using data and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Launching new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
