Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Manager to coach Guides, develop leaders, and build a culture of excellence across campuses. The role focuses on life skills coaching, data-driven performance, and maintaining uncompromising standards for student success.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in education or leadership, a strong coaching background, and willingness to relocate to on-site Alpha campuses in multiple markets including Greenwich, CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance-based termination decisions.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in an educational, coaching, or developmental setting.
• Willingness to work on-site at an Alpha campus (relocation support available): Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; Greenwich, CT

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to consistently deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Leading engaging life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and other real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in their self-directed academic programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
