Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Manager to coach Guides, lead life-skills workshops, and motivate K-12 students toward ambitious goals. You will drive student outcomes using data and coaching conversations, with a focus on building a high-performing team.

This full-time, on-site role offers relocation support for eligible campuses and opportunities to help open new Alpha locations across major markets. Compensation is strong and impacts student growth at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5–14 in educational/coach-development settings.
• Willingness to work on-site at Alpha campuses (relocation support available).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Lead engaging life skills workshops to develop communication, leadership, and focus.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals in self-directed programs.
• Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and outcomes.
• Support launch of new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence and accountability.
