Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Youth Development Manager to recruit and lead Guides, deliver engaging life skills workshops, and raise student outcomes across campuses. You will build teams, coach leaders, and ensure uncompromising standards to empower K-12 learners.

This full-time W2 role offers relocation support and six-figure compensation, with a focus on pioneering a novel school model and scalable campus growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years in education, coaching, or leadership roles.
• Experience leading teams of 5+ people.
• Proven use of data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience with ages 5–14 in educational or coaching settings.
• Willingness to work on-site at Alpha campuses (Boston, MA and others).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Lead life skills workshops to develop communication, leadership and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals and progress in self-directed programs.
• Use data and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Support launching new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence and accountability.
