Job summary

Alpha is hiring an Education Program Manager to coach Guides, build leadership capabilities, and sustain high standards across campuses. You will design life skills workshops, coach teams, and drive data-driven improvements to student experiences.

The role focuses on building an effective culture, launching new campuses, and raising performance while maintaining accountability. This is a full-time, on-site position with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance-based termination decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational, coaching, or developmental settings.
• Experience building or launching a new team, program, or campus with willingness to open a campus from zero.
• Willingness to work in a school model that rejects traditional lecture-based pedagogy.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• As Education Program Manager, coach Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Lead engaging life skills workshops to develop communication, leadership, focus, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in self-directed programs.
• Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Help launch new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence and continuous improvement.
