Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a Youth Development Leader to support before/after school and day camp programs in Katy, TX. You will create a safe, engaging environment and lead activities that promote learning and well-being for youth.

Part-time roles offer afternoon schedules and occasional Saturdays, with a temporary $3/hour stipend for eligible locations. Join a mission-driven team committed to community impact and growth.

Qualifications

Clear communication with groups of youth.

Responsibilities

Create a safe, fun, and enriching environment for youth.
Monitor safety, conduct headcounts, and follow YMCA policies.
Lead activities and adapt them to diverse needs.
Model YMCA values: honesty, respect, responsibility, caring, faith.
Support daily operations and maintain a clean, safe space.
Build strong relationships with children, families, staff, and volunteers.
Protect youth with proper sign-in/out and supervision.
