Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a part-time Youth Development Leader to run before/after school and day camp programs, fostering a safe, engaging environment for youth in Katy ISD, Conroe ISD, and Humble ISD. You will lead activities, promote inclusive values, and collaborate with families and staff.

The role emphasizes safety, positive behavior support, and active supervision, with opportunities to grow professionally within a mission-driven community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old
• Six months of youth experience in a licensed setting
• CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention training (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to plan and lead age-appropriate activities
• Able to pass state/local background checks and fingerprinting
