Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains, Inc. is seeking a Lead Youth Development Professional to support daily programs for Pre-K–2nd grade members in our licensed Club.

This role focuses on safety, engaging activities, and a fun, nurturing environment where children learn and grow. This part-time, non-exempt position requires CPR certification, a high school diploma, and the ability to work four days a week, including after-school hours and summer hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR certification within 90 days of employment (training provided).
• Commitment to working four days a week.
• Be available after school hours and during summer hours as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs for Pre-K–2nd grade members, promoting Academic Success, Character & Leadership, and Healthy Lifestyles.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities across recreation, fitness, arts, and enrichment.
• Model positive behavior and act as a mentor to youth and volunteers.
• Create a safe, inclusive space where every child is valued and supported.
• Track attendance and assist with basic program reporting to evaluate success.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings to build leadership and professional skills.
