Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Lead Guide to build and coach high-performing Guides, delivering life skills experiences and maintaining uncompromising standards for student success. You will lead teams, run workshops, and mentor students across campuses, aligning with Alpha's three promises of excellence and growth.

The role emphasizes coaching over traditional classroom teaching, with relocation support and on-site work at multiple campuses.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in youth development, coaching, education, or related leadership role.
Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance decisions.
Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
Willingness to work on-site at Alpha campuses and support relocation.

Responsibilities

Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences and uphold high standards.
Lead engaging life skills workshops to develop communication and leadership in K-12 students.
Motivate students to reach ambitious learning goals and progress in self-directed programs.
Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and outcomes.
Help launch new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence and accountability.
