Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Lead Guide to build a high-performing team that supports K-12 students through coaching, life-skills development, and self-directed learning. You will coach Guides, design engaging workshops, and drive student progress with data-driven leadership.

This role focuses on cultivating a culture of excellence across select Alpha campuses and can involve relocation to markets including Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; Greenwich, CT; and Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or related leadership.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding high standards.
• Lead life skills workshops to develop communication, leadership, focus and real-world skills.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals in self-directed programs.
• Use data and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Help launch new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence and accountability.
