Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day with faster learning and stronger mentorship. As Youth Development Manager, you will coach Guides, lead life skills workshops, and motivate K-12 students to achieve ambitious goals across multiple campuses.

You'll use data and coaching conversations to lift performance, and help launch new Alpha campuses with a culture of excellence and accountability. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting relocation to listed markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of youth development, coaching, education, learning and development, or related leadership experience.
• Experience leading teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance-based termination decisions.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational, coaching, or developmental settings.
• Willingness to work on-site at an Alpha campus across listed cities.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to consistently deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Leading engaging life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and other real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in their self-directed academic programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
