Job summary

Racine County, Wisconsin is seeking a qualified supervisor to lead Youth Development Workers in the Jonathan Delagrave Youth Development and Care Center on the 2nd shift. You will supervise staff, coach performance, schedule coverage, and ensure safe, rehabilitative services for youth.

Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary interventions, documenting incidents, participating in safety drills, and maintaining compliance with Wisconsin codes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a correctional, juvenile justice or related setting.
• Minimum of three years in juvenile justice, detention or residential care.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and positive behavioral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and guidance to Youth Development Workers.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, shift coverage and staffing levels.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized goals and interventions.
• Ensure safety, incident reporting and proper documentation.
• Review behavior and ensure appropriate care planning.
• Assist in training and onboarding of staff.
