Job summary

St. Charles Youth & Family Services seeks a Lead Youth Development Specialist for the 3rd shift to assist the Program Manager with staff coaching and training in a therapeutic 24-hour care setting in Milwaukee, WI.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with at risk youth.
• Ability to attend ongoing training to meet standards.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license strongly preferred.
• Demonstrates cultural competence and respectful communication.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach Youth Development Specialist staff.
• Update and train on departmental processes or procedures.
• Work one-on-one with clients as needed.
• Provide instructional and behavioral support to clients.
• Monitor attendance and provide instruction in teacher's absence.
• Support client activities and daily routines as planned.
• Provide therapeutic counseling to groups and individuals.
• Maintain client confidentiality and documentation.
