Job summary

Rawhide Youth Services in Peshtigo, WI, is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to provide care and therapeutic treatment within residential programs. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized treatment plans and support day-to-day operations, including medication administration.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, crisis management, and maintaining thorough documentation to meet licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; but must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates or bachelor's with focus on child/youth care or social/behavioral science.
• At least 1 year of experience in a recognized child welfare setting.
• Completion of Rawhide’s supervised traineeship program.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care and therapeutic treatment of Rawhide youth within the residential programs.
• Collaborates with teams to develop and implement individual treatment plans.
• Assists with day-to-day residential operations, including medication administration.
• Completes accurate documentation to stay compliant with licensing requirements.
