Job summary

Rawhide Youth Services is seeking a Youth Development Specialist in Peshtigo, WI to provide night-time coverage and direct-care support in a residential Living Unit. You will work with a team to create and sustain a therapeutic culture that advances treatment goals for youth.

Responsibilities include care and therapeutic treatment, collaborating on treatment plans, assisting with operations including medication administration, and maintaining accurate licensing-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; but must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor's with focus on child/youth care or in a social/behavioral science field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a recognized child welfare setting for the population Rawhide serves.
• Completion of Rawhide's supervised traineeship program.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and therapeutic treatment of Rawhide youth within residential programs.
• Work with teams on development/implementation of individual treatment plans.
• Assist with residential operations and medication administration.
• Complete accurate documentation to remain compliant with licensing requirements.
