Job summary

YMCA of Southern Nevada is seeking a Youth Development Director for our Durango Hills branch in Las Vegas. This full-time in-person role leads high-quality child-care and family programs, including Summer Camp, Kid's Gym, Teen Programs, and Parent's Night Out, with responsibility for program expansion, budgeting, and staff supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in youth development or related fields, proven administrative and supervisory experience, and strong skills in budgeting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in child/youth development related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a role with administrative responsibilities.
• Minimum of 2 year of experience supervising staff with a proven track record of developing rising stars for advancement.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Polished speaker who is comfortable presenting in large and small groups that may include board members, executives, school principals, and staff members.

Responsibilities

• Manages, directs, and coordinates Youth & Family programs at the branch level.
• Supervises staff, trains, and develops personnel; ensures programs stay within budget and policies.
• Develops, implements, and oversees high-quality YMCA child-care and family engagement programs.
• Plans and coordinates YMCA summer camp programs at the branch level.
• Maintains records, budgeting, and payroll processes.
• Ensures compliance with state and local regulations and safety procedures.
