Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is seeking a Youth Development Professional to support Club Leadership in delivering an Outcome Driven Club Experience across Gym, Learning Center, Computer Lab, and other areas. You will work directly with youth, ensure their safety and development, and maintain a positive club environment.

The role requires a High School diploma, 18+ years old, confidentiality, and the ability to collaborate with families and staff while upholding DCYF standards and BGCA core

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
• Experience with non-profit youth programs is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with youth, parents and staff professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaged presence to prepare youth for success while creating a safe and healthy Club environment.
• Ensure facilities, equipment & supplies are maintained.
• Assist with planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs.
• Collect and track Club member attendance, coursework and behavior data.
• Affirm positive behavior in members and deliver coaching conversations when needed.
• Build partnerships with parents and families.
