Job summary

Police Athletic League Inc. seeks a Youthlink Director to lead district-wide afterschool programming for Elementary, Middle School, and Teens. You will manage program delivery, supervise part-time leaders and staff, and partner with NYPD, NYCPS, and DYCD to align activities with PAL goals.

The role requires experience in youth development, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with school partners while supporting SEL, mental health, and inclusion initiatives across sites.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or credential options for working with youth under 13.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; experience supervising staff.
• Familiarity with DYCD Connect is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster social and emotional competencies and mental well-being in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Manage PAL Elementary, Middle School, and Teen afterschool programming with inclusion coordination.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise part-time staff and administrative assistants.
• Ensure program alignment with PAL policies, SACC regulations, and funding obligations.
