Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to join our network of campuses across the United States. You will rotate to different campuses every one to three months, engaging K-8 students with life-skills workshops and coaching based on progress data.

Starting at $120,000 per year with accommodation provided at every posting, you will work on-site at campuses, travel weekly, and contribute to building a thriving learning community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject
• At least 3 years working with K-8 students; coaching and youth leadership count
• Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship
• Willing to be posted away from home 1–3 months at a time

Responsibilities

• Run one-hour life skill workshops for K-8 students, adapting the provided curriculum to the cohort in front of you
• Coach students one to one and in small groups using Coachbot analytics, weekly goals and incentives, until 90% or more hit their targets
• Administer and score Test2Pass assessments so students prove the skill rather than just attend the session
• Reach full standard inside your first week at each new campus, with names learned and rapport built
• Hand over cleanly at the end of every posting, documenting per-student progress and every open intervention
