Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Specialist to relocate across Alpha campuses in the United States, running one-hour life skill workshops for K-8 students and coaching them to meet weekly targets.

Accommodation is booked and paid for at every posting, and you will be away from home most weeks, earning a flat $120,000 regardless of location. You will engage with students using data-driven coaching and weekly incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching students in a dynamic educational setting.
• Ability to adapt curriculum to diverse cohorts.
• Strong interpersonal and feedback skills.

Responsibilities

• Run one-hour life skill workshops for K-8 students, adapting the provided curriculum to the cohort in front of you.
• Coach students one to one and in small groups using Coachbot analytics, weekly goals and incentives, until 90% or more hit their targets.
• Administer and score Test2Pass assessments so students prove the skill rather than just attend the session.
• Reach full standard inside your first week at each new campus, with names learned and rapport built.
• Hand over cleanly at the end of every posting, documenting per-student progress and every open intervention.
