Job summary

University of Missouri (MU) Office of Extension and Engagement, 4‑H Center for Youth Development – Atchison County, seeks an Educational Program Associate I to assist in planning, management, and support of 4‑H Youth Development programs in the assigned area. The role reports to the 4‑H Youth Development Specialist/Educator and involves coordinating events, partnerships, and volunteer capacity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for positive youth development in the community and MU Extension.
• Build and expand external local partnerships to grow the 4‑H program in the county.
• Build and expand internal partnerships to grow the 4‑H program in the county across MU colleges and Missouri Extension programs.
• Coordinate and/or conduct educational events, contests, camps, and programs using positive youth development approaches.
