Job summary

The University of Missouri (MU) Office of Extension and Engagement invites applications for an Educational Program Associate III to support 4-H Youth Development programs in Cooper County. The role focuses on planning, delivery, and evaluation of curricula that foster citizenship, leadership, and life skills.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, expanding partnerships with schools and community groups, and supporting volunteers.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
• At least 6 months of related experience is required or obtainable.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for positive youth development in the community and MU Extension.
• Coordinate and/or conduct educational events, contests, camps, and programs.
• Build external partnerships with schools, community centers, and youth-serving organizations.
• Lead planning, management, marketing, implementation and evaluation of research-based curricula.
• Travel as required to fulfill responsibilities and participate in training opportunities.
• Record accomplishments and report impacts to supervisor, funders and stakeholders.
