Job summary

Latin American Youth Center, Inc. in Riverdale, MD is seeking a Case Manager to support youth through enrollment, coaching, and referrals, with a focus on academic exploration and career planning.

The role requires a strong commitment to youth development and the ability to empower young people. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, with four days on-site and one day of virtual work available after a successful 60-day performance review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 1–2 years of experience with inner-city youth and families.
• Experience working with diverse populations in community-based settings.
• Ability to complete background checks/clearances as required.

Responsibilities

• Engage youth, assess needs, and develop/update individualized plans.
• Manage caseload with regular check-ins and goal setting.
• Build relationships using Positive Youth Development (PYD) principles.
• Prepare and maintain accurate case files in the ETO database.
• Collaborate with program staff to plan activities and events.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.
